Orthotic insoles. One of my arches is too flat, probably due to compensating on the good leg for years. I find it tons better using an arch support insole.

I would agree with pakkasham, quite often these issues come from higher up. When my pelvis gets bad enough my feet set off eventually!

Personally as well as physio (which I need for other bits anyway) getting the ligaments working better really helped- I have mostly barefoot style shoes now.

As random as this may sound, it may be worth getting your Vit.D levels checked. Do you get cramp in your feet or legs? My feet hurt like mad when my vit D was low and got better when my levels came back up and in fact I tend to use the foot pain as a barrometer of when my levels dip again.

See a physio or podiatrist.

Thanks everyone. Apparently I renewed contract online last October. I have absolutely no recollection of this, I have no confirmation emails and there was nothing on my account to say this, however I am now not able to access that to look again. I have no advice, but am going to recommend plus net- been with them since I moved in about 10 months ago; cheap, good service, and U.K. Call centres so very easy to speak to someone and understand what is going on (we had a bt line go down which knocked out the whole postcode so had to call them to find out what was going on)

@alainax erm. No?? Why on Earth would BT be aware of a contract in place with another service provider?! They can only do as a customer requests. The OP requested to move her services to BT, and so they placed an order.

BT will set up a new contract, and pay the balance on an existing contract in order for you to move over to them. I moved in November, as talk talk were useless, and my broadband was delivered via wet string.
