<p>Also you could look at commuting &#8211; coming from further out is more costly but can be strangely faster than when you live in London.</p>

<p>London is great for a while, but IMHO not for long term. How long do you need to hang in there careerwise to be able to get out advantageously? </p>

I know alcoholics who have been to rehab (in both residential units and &#8220;day&#8221; units) and they have attended AA once they have made a start on therapy at these units. Go on a trip with no access to alcohol. Treat yourself to posh soft drinks. Think of things to do with the money that you save. Best wishes.   </p>

Also about 3 weeks for a docs appointment locally so people rock up at A &amp;E.</p>
