      I have a FB friend who is a lovely lady – I met her through running club, she also has a greyhound and she is really nice. The only problem is….. she is a serial ‘liker’ on FB.

      Literally every time I post anything, she will like it regardless of what it is – a competition entry, a reminder to myself to enter for an event, anything! It absolutely drives me mad…..for me it turns it into a meaningless act that doesn’t acknowledge stuff I’m really happy or pleased about

      Has anyone dealt with this massive first world problem? Other than unfriending her or putting her on ‘public view only’ which I am loathe to do…..

      Yes, and those who “like” every reply to one of their posts. It would mean more if they were a bit selective

      I am not one of your FB friends or I would like all your posts on there too.

      I rarely post anything on FB so don’t suffer from that problem, but I know what you mean.

      It drives me absolutely INSANE when people do this. I have a few friends who like a post, then go through and click like on every comment on it – within the space of about 3 minutes, so that my phone buzzes like an angry wasp for prolonged periods of time.
      I wish that it was possible to opt out of the “like” thing. I’d rather people commented, or did nothing!

      Just change your setting so all others friends than her can see your posts. Everyone except…….

      I did that to a similar person.

      Not FB (which is pretty silent from me, except for big updates like holiday or show reports etc), however, I do have a friend on Instagram who likes every single upload, within minutes… so I sort of understand.

      It doesn’t really bother me though!

      The ‘liking’ thing on FB doesn’t really bother me either way, what does make me want to shout rude words, are photos of peoples coffee/ lunch/. I mean why ? who cares . Or the people tagged in the gym, ooh look at me I’m getting up at 6am to do a spinning class.

      I don’t have friends that are serial likers but I do have those that post the “I bet 99% of my friends won’t share/comment on this post”. That annoys me! I do ignore those ones

      The liking doesn’t bother me too much! At least I know people are looking at my posts

      I have people that do it on Instagram too.

      But I agree with Elbie people who post those things really bug me!
