I used to work with BT- they would not be the ones to contact you about a problem with your line, you have to contact them (and only if you pay your line rental to them).
If you pay line rental to TalkTalk, it would be them who you would need to speak to about any issues.
Call your banks and let them know- if they accessed your ebay account they may have access to your bank details.
